Justin Stich is one of our NYH2H Veteran success stories. Justin realized he wanted to be part of something bigger than himself, as well as give himself the opportunity to to see what the world had to offer. At the age of 22, he joined the United States Navy. Upon leaving the Navy, Justin was entering the workforce as a civilian and in need of a career. He heard about the Helmets to Hardhats program through a fellow veteran that had recently joined. In the summer of 2015, the opportunity to join the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 3 came about. With a wife to support, and first child on the way, this call could not have come at a better time for Justin’s family. Now with three beautiful children, Justin is a proud 5th year apprentice of Local 3. NYH2H is very proud to have been able to be here for Justin’s journey.
Fun fact: Justin once ate five Philly cheese steaks from Pat’s in one sitting !
