R.E.D. is an acronym that stands for REMEMBER EVERYONE DEPLOYED. On Fridays, we wear RED to show our support for our deployed troops – to thank and honor them. Originated in 2005, this movement was created to boost morale of our deployed troops. Today, and everyday, we support our troops. In exchange for a $30 donation, you will receive the NYH2H R.E.D. Friday T-Shirt.
NYH2H is a nonprofit, direct-entry program that places returning service members into Union Construction Apprenticeship Programs. In a Union Apprenticeship, each service member’s training is paid for by their union, they are working full time & paid for every hour they work, and they are free to collect their GI Bill benefits and keep that money for themselves. To date, NYH2H has placed over 3,000 Veterans into Union Careers.
Every Friday, NYH2H will be posting a photo of 1 person wearing their NYH2H RED Friday T-Shirt. Whoever is chosen will win a small NYH2H prize pack. Submit your photo(s) via social media DM or email to firstname.lastname@example.org to enter
